AnchorWorks

Merkle Batching

Merkle Batching is the process by which AnchorWorks groups governance events into Merkle trees. SHA-256 hashes form the leaves, pairs are hashed recursively to form the root.

Batch Formation

Events accumulate in pending batches until size or time thresholds trigger commitment.

Tree Construction

SHA-256 hashes of events form the leaves. Pairs are hashed recursively to form the root.

Proof Generation

For each event, a Merkle proof is generated containing sibling hashes on the path to root.

Events are batched into Merkle trees to enable efficient verification and ledger anchoring.
