AnchorWorks: Governance Runtime Adapter
AnchorWorks is infrastructure tooling that produces cryptographic evidence of declared AI governance processes.
It intercepts governance-relevant operations at runtime, constructs cryptographic commitments using Merkle trees, and publishes evidence to ForgeRun's append-only transparency ledger.
What AnchorWorks Does
AnchorWorks records governance-relevant events and produces cryptographic evidence that third parties can independently verify without trusting AnchorWorks, the operator, or any intermediary.
- Intercepts AI operations at runtime
- Constructs SHA-256 hashes and Merkle tree commitments
- Publishes evidence to ForgeRun's immutable ledger
- Stores receipts in local evidence locker
- Enables independent verification by auditors
What AnchorWorks Does NOT Do
AnchorWorks does not certify, approve, enforce, or evaluate governance adequacy. It does not assess compliance, safety, or correctness. Interpretation of evidence is performed by auditors, regulators, courts, or organizations themselves.
- Does not make governance decisions
- Does not enforce policies
- Does not certify AI systems
- Does not provide trust ratings
- Does not assess compliance or safety
Protocol Compliance
AnchorWorks implements three governance protocols: S11.1 for structured governance artifacts, Prometheus for observable runtime metrics, and Atom2 for trust signal framework.
