Ledger Anchoring
Ledger Anchoring is the process by which AnchorWorks submits batch Merkle roots to ForgeRun's public ledger. ForgeRun returns a commitment ID and timestamp for public verification.

Failure Handling
Failed anchoring attempts are logged and can be retried. Evidence remains valid for local verification.
Public Verification
Anyone can query ForgeRun to verify that a specific batch root was anchored at a specific time.
Batch roots are anchored to ForgeRun's public ledger for time-stamping and public observability.
